Centered in the city of New York Noriko Sugawara, a jewelry artist, has been continuously working in order
to realize a moment of beauty. As great music, great art, a love that gives you a profound experience; she
hopes that her work will flow into your heart and bring you a moment of beauty.
Noriko graduated from the jewelry design course of New York Fashion Institute of Technology, and after that,
studied sculpture at Art Student League of New York. While she was a student of FIT she also studied under
Mr. Chie Teratani at Chie’s Studio, obtaining higher and more specialized techniques, and established her style
“art jewelry with concept”. She is continuously presenting her one of a kind jewelry pieces through galleries
and major art shows.
She was awarded in the United Sates Accessory design award for Fine Jewelry by Accessories Council and
Seventeen Magazine (2003) and selected for one of the 4 Finalists for the 2005 NICHE Awards Competition.
She is the most observed young artist now.
